What a fun weekend! Okay it was last weekend, I spent this weekend at the team play golf tournament which I'm happy to report the team I'm on took first in our division again! Now back to Big Bear. Cheryl and Dan invited me back to Big Bear with them this year. I didn't make it last year. We took the kids to Oktoberfest, slide and go-kart park, and of course the pontoon out on the lake. We tried to catch fish... I was just lucky I didn't hook myself in the forehead. I tried to take all the pictures with the Nikon but had a hard time with the lighting. I still have to work on learning all the setting and tools on the camera. I find that only one out of a thousand photos I take is worth looking at. very very sad...

I think some of your pictures came out great. When you (the photographer) facing the sun to take pictures of people who are backing the sun, you need to turn on the flash light on (force flight light) so their face won't be too dark due to the high contrast.
